Hello Everyone!

Happy Monday!  We have a very happy birthday boy (how is he 3???) that got his Birthday Adventure!  I hope you all had a great weekend as well!

Today I have a very simple card to share with you using this week's product of the week, Perennial Birthday.  Here is an image of the stamps:

This stampset is fantastic for birthdays--and lets face it, we all make more birthday cards then anything else!  Here is just one of the projects that I made with this set:

And that background bokeh paper?  The reverse side is pretty too:

So, to keep today quick.  Here is how you make this card:

1.  Cut a piece of the Smoky Slate cardstock in half to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".  Score in the centre at 4 1/4", and fold along the score line.  Cut a piece of the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper to 4" x 5 1/4".  Adhere to the card base using the tear tape.

2.  Cut a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock to 1 3/4" x 5 1/2".  Cut a price of 1 1/2" to 5 1/2" of Whisper White cardstock.  Stamp Happy Birthday in Calypso Coral, approx. 2 1/4" from the left side. Adhere the stamped white strip to the smoky slate strip using tear tape.

3.  Cut a circle approx. 1 7/8" in diameter from Whisper White cardstock using the stitched shapes dies.  Cut a 2" scalloped circle from Petal Pink cardstock using the layering circles dies.  Stamp the flower blossom in Petal Pink and the leaves in Mint Macaron on the Whisper White circle.  Adhere the circle to the scalloped circle.

4.  Adhere the Smoky Slate & Whisper White layered strip to the front of the card approx. 3/4" from the bottom using tear tape.  Adhere the layered circle to the layered strip using dimensionals.  Add the sequins.

And that's it!

Happy Monday!  Enjoy!
