Hello!
Welcome back! Thank you to everyone that came to our last crop of the season this past weekend! We raised $104.00 for Lily's Place Shelter here in Kingston thanks to sales and crop fee profits! We love being able to give back to the community each month, even if it is just a bit at a time!
Each month at the crop we do four make & takes. And I thought the scrapbook layout would be perfect for Make It Monday today!
Fun right? And it can be Christmas or just seasonal which is what I was hoping for!
To make this layout:
1. Take the piece of Woodgrain paper from the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper, and centre a piece of 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 Cherry Cobbler Cardstock on top and adhere. Place a 2" x 12" wide strip of the plaid paper from the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper approx. 3 3/4" from the top of the page and adhere.
2. Take a piece of 3" x 6" gray granite cardstock, emboss using the Subtle Embossing Folder. Adhere centred under the plaid strip. Cut a piece of 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" Whisper White Cardstock and adhere using dimensionals approx. 1/2" from the edge and the bottom of the gray granite cardstock piece.
3. Punch a 2 1/4" Circle from Cherry Cobbler cardstock. Punch a 2" Circle from Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the snowflake cluster from the Beautiful Blizzard stampset in Gray Granite ink, then stamp the sentiment in Memento Ink. Layer the stamped circle on to the cherry cobbler circle. Adhere to the layout using dimensionals, slightly overlapping the photo mat.
4. Using the Snowfall Thinlit Dies, diecut the swirl, along with 7 of the snowflakes. Layer one of the snowflakes onto the swirl and adhere at the bottom of the Cherry Cobbler layer. Layer one snowflake onto the largest, and adhere the layered snowflake along with 4 others to the layout (I used the fine tip glue pen).
