Hello Everyone!

I hope you are having a fantastic Family Day weekend (and apparently I missed all of last week so hopefully you had a great week too!).  It's been a bit busy around here, but I am slowly getting caught up - ha!

Today I wanted to share with you photos from our recent weekend retreat--but because it's Make It Monday, I thought I would just show you one of our make and take projects today, and then show you more later this week!

Instead of doing a 3d item like we do at our day crops, I came up with this set of four notecards.  Stampin' Up! just came out with these new narrow notecards in the occasions catalog, and I am in love with them!  They're pretty cute, and super simple!

To get started:

1.  Choose the piece of the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper (which is FREE when you spend $60 or more during Sale-a-Bration!) you wish to use in the background.  Trim it to 2 1/4 x 4 1/4" and adhere to the front of the note card.

2.  Stamp the large bottle in the colour of your choice on the Whisper White cardstock.  Die cut both the stamped bottle and the coordinating label using  the thinlits and the big shot.  You can also cut the bottle cap from the gold foil paper at the same time.

3.  Stamp the label with a background in one colour, and sentiment in another (unfortunately that doesn't show up that well in the photo--sorry!). and adhere to the bottle using tear tape.  Adhere the bottle cap (I recommend the fine tip glue which I forgot to list!).

4.  Adhere the assembled bottle to the card front using dimensionals.  Add a contrasting colour of the sequins.

And that's it!  Super simple and cute!

Enjoy!
