Lisa Henderson card Cards demonstrator Display Stamper OnStage paper Stamp & Create Stamp & Create with Lisa Stamp and Create with Lisa Stampin' Up! Stampin' Up! Canada stamps

Hello Everyone!

This week, Stampin' Up! released the details of the upcoming OnStage Event, and I can't wait to attend with my team in April and see all my friends!!  If you've been thinking about joining Stampin' Up!, don't wait!  Registration for these events SELLS OUT (it opens mid January)!  And they're so much fun!  You can join my team at www.lisahenderson.stampinup.net/jointhefun

Part of OnStage is the amazing displays.  All demonstrators are given a chance to apply, and I thought you might like to see the samples I decided to submit (some of these you may have seen before, but most are brand new!).

First up, my 3 cards.

I loved making this card!  For the starlit background, I used our embossing paste, and mixed it with Crushed Curry Ink and gold Stampin' Glitter before applying to the masked background.  So much fun!

I love when Stampin' Up! brings out "new" product (I wasn't a demonstrator the first time Glossy paper was around, so it's new to me), that brings out old techniques.  I forget sometimes how much fun it is to simply sponge a background.  And it is so much easier with glossy paper!  I loved making this Northern Lights card.  Unfortunately, the glossy paper shows the ink much lighter in a photo then in person because of the lights, but I still love it!

This card was I think the first card I made with the Carols of Christmas set.  I was on a real Powder Pink with Whisper White and Basic Black kick this year!  And I still love it!  And a little Softly Falling Embossing Folder Detail in the background....  :)

Next, are my 2 - 3D projects.

I made this little candy holder for one of our crops.  We always like to include a cute little 3D item as one of our make & takes!  Something I learned this year too, is that with our Stampin' Write markers, if you colour over the stamped image twice, you don't tend to see the brushmarks!  Although now, I would probably colour them with the Stampin' Blends.

Although a bit older, this is probably one of my favourites (I should also make sure that I photograph all my samples before I donate them to the retirement home--apparently I missed a few new ones--but I still think this is my favourite)!  I think this lollipop cover would be so cute at a birthday party!

And lastly, my personal favourite, my scrapbook page.  I like to do a combination of traditional scrapbooking and pocket style scrapbooking in a double page layout:

Here's a look at them separately:

This double page layout used a combination of paper, stamps, and Memories & More.  I love how well the stamp of the paint brushes worked for our crafting photos!

And there you have it!  My entry for the Spring 2018 Display Stamper.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Lisa
