Welcome back! Today I have a card to share--two if you count the change in sentiments! I so miss doing in person classes--but a common request I get is for sympathy cards. This was one that I had created for the class. It was a bit of a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) if I remember right, but it was so long ago I have no record of it unfortunately. But I do love how it turned out!
For those that didn't need the sympathy card, I did a quick change of the sentiment to create a wedding card (I know, one extreme to another, but it works for both!)
To make this card:
Cut a 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" piece of Thick Very Vanilla cardstock. Score and fold at 5 1/2" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Cut a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, stamp the birch stamp in Crumb Cake (tip: place the stamp upright on your work surface, and ink it. Then place the paper on top carefully so it doesn't move, place a scrap piece of paper over top, and gently rub your hand over top of the paper to get the ink on the paper, then carefully pick up your papers). Add the ribbon in a strip and adhere using tear tape to the top piece, then adhere both to the card base. Die cut the stitched oval from Very Vanilla cardstock. Stamp the sentiment. Die cut the flowers from the Seaside Spray cardstock. Adhere to the stitched oval. Add rhinestones to the centre of the flowers. Adhere the oval to the card base using dimensionals to finish the card.
