Welcome back! This week I am featuring some of the projects that we had during our mini virtual crop with Crop Kingston this past weekend. Typically we don't share these projects, but this particular event was a free event and a bit different than our normal. This was one of my bonus projects--we typically have a set number of projects in our .pdf and then both Amanda and I jump on live and offer additional projects using the same kit. So many ideas for one day!
I loved this bright sunny card! This has been one of my favourite fun fold cards lately, so simple, but so fun!
Instructions:
To make this card, start with a 5 ½” x 7 ½” piece of Basic Black cardstock, score at 1 1/8” and 3 ¼” from the left (the back panel will be 4 ¼” wide), fold in an asymmetrical z shape. Cut a 3” x 5 ¼” piece of the designer series paper, and a 5 ½” x ¾” piece of the Bumblebee cardstock. Diecut the piece of the Bumblebee cardstock with the small circle border die from the Ornate Borders dies, adhere to the back side of the 1 1/8” flap of the card base, leaving approx. ¼” exposed. Adhere the cut piece of the designer series paper to the front of the same flap, leaving approx. 1/8” of the Basic Black base exposed on the left and top & bottom. Punch a piece of Whisper White cardstock using the label punch. Stamp the lacy pattern in Bumblebee. Stamp the sentiment in Memento Black. Adhere the label using dimensionals. Colour the pearls using the dark basic black Stampin' Blends marker, and sprinkle on the coloured pearls to finish the card.
